It figures that I would be reading a book called “Gender Diversity” in the middle of dealing with gender identity things.

i’ve collected and gravitated towards several of these images over the past few years, and only recently discovered that they are all by Tim Walker. apparently i really like his style. the child-like fantasies juxtaposed with old british wealth (or what i classify as old british wealth in my mind) turns familiar settings into something more fun, like a dream. So I just found out that all of those feather extensions you guys are wearing come from chickens bred for their plumage that are euthanized upon plucking.
So basically, they raise a chicken for a year and then kill it so you can have its feathers. About 1,500 birds a week. Though, originally they were used for fisherman.

We went on a beautiful bike ride tonight with our daughter, stopped on a field and let her run around and explore, then caught the sunset on the way out while trail riding :) Perfect night!
